Cape Sounio is the place to go to capture one of the most exquisite sunsets in Attica. The majestic temple of Poseidon and the ruins of the temple of Athena are significant archaeological sites. Make a point in swimming at Kavokolones as you will enjoy the view of the Temple of Poseidon.
At a short distance from Cape Sounio you can visit the port town of Lavrio. You can swim nearby in Pasalimani, Pounta Zeza and other small rocky coves. Follow the coastline from Voula to Lavrio and continue further north towards Evoikos Gulf; within a short walking distance from the road you will find small secluded beaches and bays. Rocky inlets, caves washed by the waves and tiny stretches of sand are all there to charm you!
Head south-west of Athens, by the Saronic Gulf, where you'll enjoy exquisite beaches; Loutropyrgos, Neraki, Kinetta, and other less known beaches, such as Kalogerolimano, are located near Athens.
