Lamb with apricots and honey

Ingredients

What you need:

  • 2 kilo of lamb meat (loin or shoulder) cut into portions
  • 150 gr. dried apricots
  • Juice of two oranges
  • 1 tablespoon grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt, pepper, olive oil

Method

  1. Soak the apricots in orange juice until they soften.
  2. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper and sauté it in a pot until golden.
  3. Add mustard, honey and 5-6 mashed apricots and let simmer for approximately an 1½ hours.
  4. At the very end add the rest of the apricots.
