Especially for 2021, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821, the Museum emphasizes on the contribution of Philhellenism to the liberation struggle of the Greeks, the action of the Philhellenic committees in Europe and the USA, the contribution of the artistic and literary world and volunteer combatants who fought on the side of the Greeks for the liberation of Greece.
The object of the Museum is related to the culture and the art of the 17th - 19th century, to the history, to the timelessness of classical Greece, to Lord Byron and the Greek Revolution, among others. At the same time, the Museum is of interest to the travellers of all ages, who wish to experience the influence that classical antiquity had on the political and social processes during the 19th and the 20th century.
