CATS
The legendary musical CATS, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, will take to the stage of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall from 12 to 16 November 2025, bringing audiences a unique opportunity to experience one of the world’s most iconic theatrical productions.
Based on T. S. Eliot’s beloved poetry collection Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the show has enchanted over 73 million spectators across more than 30 countries, winning multiple international awards and becoming a landmark in musical theatre history.
Set in a junkyard under the light of the full moon, the story follows the Jellicle Cats as they gather for their annual Jellicle Ball. One by one, each cat tells its story—through unforgettable music and dynamic choreography—vying for the honour of being selected by the wise elder Old Deuteronomy to ascend to the Heaviside Layer, where they will be reborn into a new life.
At the heart of the show is Grizabella, an outcast cat longing for redemption. Her emotional plea, expressed in the iconic ballad Memory, forms the emotional peak of the performance and secures her place as the one chosen to begin again.
With its unforgettable score, spectacular costumes, and visionary staging, CATS remains a timeless celebration of identity, community, and the transformative power of acceptance.
