Epidaurus Festival 2025
The Athens - Epidaurus Festival has announced the artistic programme for 2025 at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus from 27 June until 23 August and at the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus from Sunday 15 June to Saturday 30 August 2025.
The Athens - Epidaurus Festival is the largest festival in Greece and takes place in many different venues.

- June 27, 28 & 29: ATHENS EPIDAURUS FESTIVAL – NATIONAL THEATRE – ULRICH RASCHE Antigone by Sophocles.
- July 4 & 5: POREIA THEATRE – DIMITRI TARLOW Electra by Sophocles.
- July 11 & 12: National Theatre of Northern Greece – Cyprus Theatre Organisation – Michail Marmarinos ζ – η – θ The stranger A return to the sources: a visit to three Odyssey rhapsodies.
- July 19: Utopia—Teodor Currentzis Regula Mühlemann – Eve-Maud Hubeaux
Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 4 and Songs on the Death of Children (Kindertotenlieder) - July 25 & 26: Athens Epidaurus Festival – Lykofos – Yannis Houvardas Oedipus Tyrannus at Colonus.

- July 11 & 12: Christos Stergioglou – Alexandros Drakos Ktistakis Cries.
- July 18: Hellenic Film Academy – Athens Epidaurus Festival - Electra 7. A film inspired by Sophocles’ Electra.
- July 25 & 26: On the right side of the streambed by Giannis Palavos. Inspired by Sophocles’ Oedipus at Colonus. War session By Aris Alexandris. Inspired by Aristophanes’ Lysistrata.
June 27 – August 23
Children’s creative workshop in Epidaurus. On Fridays and Saturdays (20:30) during the performance at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus for children aged 5 – 12.
