Kalamata International Dance Festival
The 31st Kalamata International Dance Festival will take place from July 18 to 27, 2025 and will feature a total of 20 choreographic performances.

Parallel events include dance performances in the city of Kalamata, dance evenings in cities of the Peloponnese Region, an anniversary exhibition and two new sections: Dancing on Screen, and Encounters Off Stage.
The venues for this year's performances are: the Main Stage, the Alternative Stage and the foyer of the Kalamata Dance Hall, the Castle Amphitheatre, the Central Square of Kalamata, the Municipal Railway Park, and the Port of Kalamata.
The program includes dance performances that blend various genres, incorporating elements of theater, live music, and digital media to tell captivating stories. The international artists participating in the festival will present their works and also teach professional workshops. They come from 9 countries, the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Belgium, Norway, Lebanon, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
The educational program of the festival is divided into three categories: training for Kalamata's dance students, professional training, and workshops for the general public of all ages, including those with disabilities. The workshops for the public cover a range of topics, including workshops for children and adolescents, parents and children, individuals over 40 years old, and a movement workshop specifically designed for disabled individuals.
