Carnival of the Municipality of Moschato -Tavros

  The carnival of the Municipality of Moschato-Tavros in Athens promises to offer a lot of unforgettable moments of fun to all participants and visitors at its festivities which will last from February 8, 2014 to March 3, 2014. The launch of this year's carnival events, will take place on February 8, marked by the pursuit of a Treasure Hunt, a long lasting carnival event for youngsters aged 14 or over. During the carnival period many festivities are scheduled for all ages such as concerts, music and dancing shows.

  The highlight of the carnival is the grand parade of masquerades which will take place in Moschato (Makrygianni Avenue) on February 23, 2014. The carnival festivities will end on Clean Monday (or Ash Monday) with the traditional Koulouma (the outdoor celebration of Clean Monday).
