New arrival in Crete: “Radisson Blu Beach Resort”
One of the “loudest” arrivals in the country’s hotel scene is that of “Radisson Blu Beach Resort” in Milatos of Lasithi, near a lovely little fishing village of
Crete. It opened just before Easter and essentially created a whole summer “town”. It consists of 318 rooms and suites, seven swimming pools with a water park and an adults-only pool, a kid’s club, sports facilities and many other structures that aim to provide a perfect and complete tourist experience. The hotel has five different restaurants that operate under the guidance of Chef Yves Mattagne, winner of two Michelin stars. The culinary choices move between the
Greek and the Mediterranean gastronomy. The hotel complex is located in an area of 47 acres, covered with various trees, such as palms and olive trees, and waterfalls. In the hotel’s premises, one may also find a beauty and massage parlor, and tennis courts.
