Marina Abramović in Athens

One of the most famous artists of performance art comes to Athens with a performance titled “As One”, which will be hosted at the Benaki Museum on Pireos Avenue, in collaboration with NEON cultural organization. For six weeks (10/3-24/4), visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to get introduced to the so-called Abramović Method, a series of exercises designed by Marina Abramović, which turns the visit into a living experience through various techniques requiring the visitors’ participation. At the same time, an original program consisting of different activities, such as workshops and lectures, is presented. Greek artists, selected by Marina Abramović and the team of curators, as well as artists from abroad, including the Grupo Empreza, Maria Herranz, Amanda Coogan and Kira O'Reilly, will also participate.
