Skopelos, (highlighted in the movie 'Mama Mia') has a collection of beach hideaways that will keep you busy exploring and choosing your own favorites.
Having just returned from Skopelos, these are a few beaches that have left me with happy memories of hot days spent making frequent dips in the cool Aegean Sea.

Agnondas Beach - Serene, clear waters and with the option to use loungers. When you get hot and thirsty, walk just a few steps and seek the shade of a big, sprawling tree, conveniently part of a friendly taverna.

Limonari Beach - Plan to stay all day or book accommodations steps from the turquoise waters! Sun on the beach or relax in the shade of a fig tree on the grassy area. A charming taverna with amazingly fresh ingredients is discreetly near the beach. Enjoy an espresso while enjoying the view.

Panormas Beach - A calm bay, clear warm water with a pebbled beach. Loungers are available for sunning. The bay has second secluded bay attached to it where boats harbour. Choose one of the seafront restaurants and literally sit at a table on the beach while eating a fabulous dinner.

Milia Beach - A long stretch of beach, made for walking along the water. Loungers and a small bar at one end…more private at the other end. Lovely during the day, try going later in the day and taking a picnic dinner. Swim, snorkel, eat and then enjoy the sun setting behind the rock formations shooting out from the sea not far from the shore.

Armenopetra Beach - Although the access road is narrow and bumpy, you will be rewarded with a beach that is practically private. Note: Walk around the rock formation to find a tiny spot of beach that is perfect for snorkelling among the protruding rocks.
