3 festivals that give cause for travelling

Music and sounds from around the world are brought by young artists and musicians of the international scene to the magnificent Ancient Theatre of Pythagorio in Samos, in the context of “Samos Young Artists Festival” (August 7-13) that is organized by the active Schwarz Foundation in the Island of Pythagoras. Reviving, as a museum, the premises of an old tomato factory in Vlychada, Santorini, the Santorini Arts Factory has prepared a varied summer program (July 20 – August 29) that includes theatrical performances, concerts, musical evenings and the cycle of art exhibitions titled “Removement”, curated by Maria Vasariotou. The River Party, probably the most important concert event of the Greek region is set up every summer for thirty-seven years now in an enchanting environment, in Nestorio of Kastoria, at the foot of Mount Grammos and the sources of Aliakmonas. This year, the festival (July 29 – August 2) features the most dynamic line-up in its history, with 32 artists, 4 stages and also plenty of room for you to set up your tent, if you wish.
