KEROS FOR ALL

Surf Club Keros is located on Limnos, (Greek: Λήμνος,) a Greek island located in the northern Aegean Sea. Limnos is the 8th biggest Greek island, it has only thirty villages and settlements, and has maintained its virgin character over the years. Known for its Mediterranean climate and strong winds, Limnos ultimately deserves its nickname “the wind-ridden one”. A quite unique landscape comprises the surrounding area of surf club Keros. The rare sand dunes, wetlands, natural salt lakes, and astonishing flora and fauna are some of its main characteristics. Numerous archeological sites, sandy arches and excursion spots are located nearby for you to discover through our numerous activities. In this extraordinary environment we managed to create an innovative surf lodge and spa, which is 100% ecofriendly, in which we provide 5 star luxury hotel services. The highly sophisticated infrastructure combined with the comforts provided will satisfy the most demanding travelers, while the alternative water sport activities package the most active ones! From this year, Surf Club Keros becomes the first European Active holiday resort fully accessible & friendly for individuals with physical disabilities. The club will welcome and encourage visitors with disabilities to enjoy a full range of recreation opportunities. Surf Club Keros, strongly believes that all recreation programs must be accessible to all people, especially those with physical disabilities. It is a duty to meet the reasonable needs of travelers with disabilities not by reacting on a case-by-case basis, but by preparing in advance and by planning for most potential needs which may arise. In effort to achieve full accessibility of the club, the initiative was taken to: a) Launch cooperation with outdoor disability experts, who provide customers with advance information and special assistance when planning your trip to the club as well as during your stay here. b) Inform and educate all Surf Club Kero's staff regarding disabilities in general and physical disabilities in particular. c) Make the infrastructure a friendly and wheelchair accessible environment both at the surf station beach as well as Keros Club. d) Teach each individual how to kite, surf, windsurf through specific methods adapted for each physical disability, guided by our International kiteboarding organization certified instructors and trained personnel. We would like to inform you that Keros Surf Club will organize four KEROS FOR ALL clinics for individuals with physical disabilities during June 2015 which will take place on the following dates: 1st weekly camp May 23-30, 2015 2nd weekly camp May 30 to June 6, 2015 3rd weekly camp June 6- 13, 2015 4th weekly camp June 13-20, 2015 We Hope to See you All Soon on Limnos Island!
