L’Etape Greece by Tour de France 2025
The 3rd L'Étape Greece by Tour de France will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
The legend of the Tour de France, the world's most important cycling event, will meet Greek myth, in the enchanting landscapes of Western Greece and Ancient Olympia.
Amateur cyclists from Greece and all over the world will be able to experience the feelings of the Tour de France professional cyclists as they cross the mountainous stages. The riders will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, enjoy an unparalleled combination of Greek nature and ancient history with completely closed roads, and experience an unforgettable adventure. L'Étape Greece, like all events in the international Tour de France series, has been designed by experts to replicate the French experience of L'Étape du Tour.
It is organised according to the world-class standards of the Tour de France, so that cyclists can fully immerse themselves in the exhilarating atmosphere of the French cycling race and experience the same conditions.
Routes
- The Race 150km, altitude difference 2,500m
- The Ride 85km, altitude difference 1,400m
- The Fun Ride 17km, flat
The Race
New long distance route, which extends in two loops completing 150 kilometers with 2,500 meters of elevation gain. Athletes participating in The Race will also compete in a Climbing Sprint and a Flat Sprint.
The Ride
Equally challenging is the shorter distance of The Ride, 85 kilometers with 1,400 meters of elevation gain. The cyclists of The Ride will compete in a Flat Sprint and a Climbing Sprint.
The Fun Ride
Α 17-kilometer easy cycling excursion, with no elevation gain, without timing. The route is designed to pass through the historic site of Ancient Olympia.
