Athens Half Marathon 2025

SEGAS (Hellenic Athletics Federation) and the Municipality of Athens jointly organise the Athens Half Marathon on March 09, 2025.

The event includes the following races:

• Half Marathon, participation limit 9,000 runners
• 5km Road Race, participation limit 12,000 runners
• Family Run 1000m, participation limit 2,000 runners

The Half Marathon starts at 08.30, and will be concluded at 11.45. By that time, all runners need to have reached the finish line.
Start Line: Syntagma Square, Amalias Avenue (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier).
Finish: Amalias Avenue (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier).

The 5km Road Race starts at 12.00 and finishes at 13.30.
Start Line: Syntagma Square (Filellinon Street), facing Stadiou Street.
Finish: Amalias Avenue (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier) coming from Panepistimiou Street.

The Family Run starts at 11:45.
Start Line: Vas. Sofias Avenue (Byzantine Museum).
Finish: Syntagma Square (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier).
