Piano City Athens

During Piano City Athens, music does not wait for the audience, but spreads out in the squares, in people's homes and in unconventional spaces, from Monday 12 to Sunday 18 May, 2025.





Piano City Athens is the first festival to literally take place all over the city. Having inspired thousands of people in Berlin, New York, Milan and other metropolises, Piano City is now coming to Athens. The sounds of the piano diffuse and transform the entire urban landscape.

During the festival, the residents of Athens will enjoy a rich program with:
House concerts: Piano virtuosos and amateurs, selected by the artistic committee, will open their homes and hearts to the general public. They will showcase their virtuosity and talent by giving small piano concerts in their homes with a repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary pieces. Enthusiasts, as well as the general public, will have the unique opportunity to enjoy these melodic experiences.

Piano concerts in public and private spaces: In addition to house concerts, piano concerts will be held all over Athens; in an airport lounge, in a park, in a department store, or an office. In a hotel, a theater, a museum, a conservatory, or simply in the middle of the street.
