FESTIVAL
MEGARON CONCERT HALL / ATHENS
Spring Festival
Megaron - the Athens Concert Hall welcomes spring with a unique series of concerts and performances highlighting the power of music and dance until April 14, 2025.
The forth edition of Megaron Spring Festival invites the audience to an exciting cultural experience featuring top artists and ensembles from around the world.
The multi-award-winning mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato is set to enchant with her vocal artistry and expressive mastery - with Craig Terry on the piano. The pianist Igor Levit, renowned for his exceptional technique and bold interpretations, will present a recital full of intensity and emotional depth. One of the leading performers of his generation, Nikolai Lugansky, will join forces with the Athens State Orchestra in a program showcasing the charm of the Romantic repertoire.
The charismatic pianist Bruce Liu, who impressed audiences and critics alike at the 2021 International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, will offer a program illuminating the subtle nuances of the piano repertoire, performing alongside the Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
The festival concludes with the new production of Ballet Preljocaj Requiem(s) by leading choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, a daring and deeply moving exploration of life and death through contemporary dance.
