The exhibition "In the Footsteps of Apostle Paul", which traces the route of the Apostle Paul's Second Missionary Journey from Macedonia to Corinth, is on display at the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki until 30 April 2025.The museum narrative of the exhibition was structured on the basis of Paul's Second Apostolic journey in Greece, in a revised framework of documentation and reconstruction, according to the text of the Acts of the Apostles, his letters to the newly founded Christian Churches and his collaborators, historical and archaeological research, as well as the oral tradition that preserved the memory of the Apostle unchanged. The aim is to connect the Apostolic route with archaeological sites and monuments of the Greco-Roman era, the Jewish Diaspora and the Christian world at the then stations of the Apostle's tour and now cities of modern Greece. The exhibition is addressed to the residents and institutions of these areas and was designed in such a way that it can be expanded and hosted in any museum or exhibition space that wishes to present it to its public.
The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki is the first stop of the exhibition, which will tour other cities of the Greek territory located near the places of the Apostolic Tour.
