Tzatziki

Ingredients

What you need:

  • 1 cucumber
  • 500gr greek yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

Method

  1. Peel and deseed the cucumber.
  2. Grate it and squeeze the excess water out of it.
  3. Mash the garlic cloves and mix them well with some salt by hand.
  4. Add one or two spoonfuls of yogurt and mix well again before adding the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Make sure that the garlic paste has spread in the mixture evenly.
  6. Garnish with a spoonful of dill.
  7. Keep refrigerated.
