Benaki Museum of Greek Culture

Located on the fourth floor of a historic neoclassical building in the centre of Athens, the café-restaurant serves light snacks or full meals of Greek and Mediterranean Cuisine, offering customers views of the National Garden, the sacred rock of the Acropolis and the area around Syntagma Square. It’s a popular spot for a lunch break or a late dinner (on Thursdays) when you can enjoy the night city lights.

Tip: The restaurant stays open until midnight on Thursdays.

The Museum of Cycladic Art

Numismatic Museum Café

A green quiet spot in the heart of Athens. A discreet place welcoming visitors only a few metres away from the hustle and bustle of Panepistimiou St. is none other than the Numismatic Museum’s Café. Its peaceful garden is the perfect location for enjoying your coffee break, a snack or a drink as it stays open until nightfall. The building housing the museum is one of the neoclassical architectural gems designed during the 2nd half of the 19th c. in Athens by the then famous architect Ernst Tziller.
