Touch the stars in one of the best and largest planetariums in the world!

State-of-the-art equipment, combined with all the creative and technical capabilities of modern audio-visual media and new technologies, offer an impressive viewing experience showcasing the latest developments in astronomy, astrophysics, space exploration and other natural sciences. This combination creates such a unique immersive experience that the audience feels like they are a part of the projected environment!

The weekly schedule of the Planetarium offers a large variety of shows suitable for different age groups from 5 to 99 years old. All shows are projected on its hemispherical giant screen dome of 24,5m diameter and 900m2 area.

English narration is available with the use of wireless headphones sets provided at the front desk.

The premises of the Eugenides Planetarium are accessible and friendly to people with mobility impairment, sensory impairment, and disabilities. Seats are reserved for wheelchair users.

Τhe Eugenides Foundation is a  public benefit foundation established in 1954 with the mission to contribute to the education of young people in the scientific and technical fields. The Foundation publishes educational books for technical, vocational, and maritime education and awards scholarships. It operates one of the largest Planetariums in the world, a modern Interactive Science and Technology Exhibition, a Technology Laboratory, and a Library.
