MILOS
Kleftiko
Also referred to as the ‘Meteora of the Sea.’ You’ll admire some gigantic gray-rock formations emerging from the waters, some of which end up in sandy beaches, others creating sheltered coves, inlets and caves where sailors usually love to anchor their boats and take a dive in the clear waters.
Provatas
A renown golden-red sandy beach with shallow waters offering various facilities and services, ideal for family with kids, is located 7km from Adamanta.
Palaiochori
A popular beach, in fact there are two of them, located near the Palaiochori Village, with colourful pebbles, reddish rocks and deep blue waters.
Tsigkrado
This white sandy beach is nestled in between huge rocks and has unique emerald waters. Located approximately 8km from Adamantas.
Fyriplaka
Within walking distance from Tsigkrado, this is a busy beach with fine gray sand and white pebbles, offering various facilities.
Gerontas
A beach well worth a visit even though it is rather difficult to reach. Either by sea or by a long car drive to the south part of the island as well as a ten minutes walk to get there; this beach will blow your mind away! An arch-shaped rock, some caves and clear turquoise waters are there promising to leave the very best impression on you.
Pachaina
A sandy beach with rocks emerging from the sea, overlooking Glaronisia islets. Located 4km west from Apollonia Village.
Agios Ioannis
The golden-white sandy beach bears the name of the nearby monastery. There are actually three consecutive beaches that are connected one to another by small paths.
Achivadolimni
This is actually the largest beach on the island. White sand and crystal clean waters. If you are into camping this is Milos campsite where facilities are offered.
Sarakiniko
This picture perfect beach, resembling a lunar scenery, with its whitewashed rocks against the backdrop of the deep blue sea is a must visit on the island!
Lagkada
This is a popular sandy beach as it is located near Adamantas port, has shallow waters and plenty of shade from the trees.
