Epidavrios Dromos

The Epidaurus Race takes place, on Sunday 7 May 2023, along one of the most historic routes in Greece.

The Race is linking two of the most important monuments of the ancient world: the Epidaurus Road, which starts from the Small Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus and ends at the Ancient Theatre of Asclepius Epidaurus (Ancient Stadium of Asclepius Epidaurus), the most beautiful and best preserved in the world. The race masterfully combines the geographical relief of the whole of Greece. The runners race by the sea as well as among mountains with lush vegetation. The event is under the auspices of the Municipality of Epidaurus, the Prefecture of Peloponnese, the Regional Unity of Argolis, the Marathon association of Argolis, SEGAS and the whynot Co.

Here follow the races:

• Run: 5 km. / 21km. (Age Groups: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, +60)
• Kids Run 1,5km (for kids older than 6 years old)
• Walk 5 km.

Starting points of the Games:
- Starting point of 21km Run:  Epidaurus Little Theatre, Ancient Epidaurus
- Starting point of 5km & walkers: Central Square of Lygourion
- Starting point of 1500m: Ancient Stadium of Asclepius of Epidaurus
- Starting point of Children's run 1500m: Archaeological Site of Asclepius Epidaurus
