Tribute to Maria Callas

The Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Municipality of Athens pays tribute to the legendary soprano Maria Callas by performing religious works that she performed and left her indelible mark on them, at Olympia Municipal Music Theater - Maria Callas.

Nikolas Nägele returns to the Olympia Theatre for another collaboration with the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Municipality of Athens, while five distinguished Greek lyric singers will pay tribute to the great soprano in a programme with excerpts from works by W. A. Mozart, G. B. Pergolesi, A. Stradella, as well as the masterpiece "Stabat Mater" by Gioachino Rossini.
