Dolce Vita di Federico

A tribute to Federico Fellini by Balletto di Siena. Dolce Vita di Federico was created in 2020 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Wizard of Cinema, one of the greatest directors of world cinema, taking inspiration from his dream world and referring to his most famous works, such as Dolce Vita, Amarcord, La Strada or 81/2. The music of the show consists mainly of the well-known melodies of Nino Rota and Nicola Piovani, main composers of Fellini's film scores, who have brilliantly translated the director's imagination into music. ..

The choreographies of the work are signed by Marco Batti, founder and Artistic Director of the Ballet. Marco Batti, has studied dance at the prestigious Accademia A Vaganova and is a graduate of the American Ballet Theatre in New York. He completed his studies at the Royal Ballet School of London. In 2012 he founded Balletto di Siena and choreographed works such as Madama Butterfly, Manon, Carmen, Notre Dame de Paris, Swan Lake, and others.
