Thessaloniki International Film Festival 2023

The 64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival will take place from November 2 to November 12, 2023.




The Thessaloniki International Film Festival is honoring one of the most unique and daring voices of contemporary Greek cinema, beloved Greek director Nikos Perakis, by bestowing an honorary Golden Alexander award for his contribution to cinema. Also, the Festival is organizing a five-movie tribute that brings forth his outstanding work both as a film director and a production designer.


The Meet the Neighbors section is upgraded, expanded and will include a competition section with new awards and cash prizes.

It is an immense joy and honor for the Thessaloniki International Film Festival to welcome one of the most beloved singers of Greece, the renowned artist Haris Alexiou, as the ambassador of Agora, TIFF’s developmental branch.
