Aeschylia Festival

One of the most abiding but also creative festivals in Greece, the Aeschylia Festival, is making a dynamic comeback to the artistic forefront.  From August 22 to September 21, 2021, the city of Elefsina, the European Capital of Culture 2021, hosts again the festival that includes events of high aesthetics and quality, art installations, film screenings, performances, and concerts.

Performances from the Epidaurus festival are also concluded in this year's programme, such as Orestes, the Phoenissae, the Birds, the Horsemen, Antigone, and Bacchae.
The events will take place at the Old Olive Mill of Elefsina, a place connected to Aeschylia Festival, the Elefsina Open Air Cinema and the Elefsina Archaeological Site.

The Aeschylia Festival is held under the Auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organisation.
