Takis: Cosmos in Motion

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in collaboration with the Takis Foundation - Research Center for Art and Science presents an exhibition of emblematic sculptures of the internationally renowned artist Takis (Panagiotis Vasilakis) from June 23 to November 7, 2021.

The exhibition entitled Takis: World on the Move will demonstrate 46 representative works of the artist in the public space of the SNFCC, where he will display a comprehensive presentation of sculptures for the new generation but he will also give a new perspective on the importance of his work to those who they already know it.

The works of the exhibition include Takis' emblematic Wind Turbines, Archimedes Light Signal and, Screws, Fireworks, but also his representative works from the sections of Musical Sculptures, Magnetic Walls-Fourth Dimension, Spirals, Electric Barrels, Flowers and the Spheres.

The exhibition will be located in the Tholos, in the Canal, in the Visitor Center, in the Mediterranean Garden, in the Small Market, in the South and West Paths, in Pefkonas, in the Central Reception, in the Planted Rooms, basically in the whole public space of the SNFCC daily from 06:00 until 00:00 and admission is free.
