One of the most significant and relevant topics in contemporary art worldwide is "Trauma" and how it is portrayed in the works of contemporary artists, contributing to the contemporary visual narrative. Greek artists, in recent years, have been exploring and interpreting the theme of "Trauma," both collective and personal, stemming from significant historical events in Greek history. With reference to a series of events that have deeply influenced the collective unconsciousness, including the Greek Revolution, the Asia Minor Catastrophe, the Civil War, and the dictatorship, twenty esteemed artists present paintings, drawings, photographs, videos, and sculptures, reflecting the inherent presence of "Trauma" in various aspects of contemporary art.
