The route Xanthi-Kallithea-Leivaditis will reveal its rich forest ecosystems to travelers. You can also leave your car at Leivaditis and after hiking for about one hour, you will arrive at the great waterfall of Leivaditis. In the same region you will also find the Natural park of Chaidou (51km away from Ianthi), where you can see Arkourorema, a water stream of great esthetic value and ecological importance and also a protected natural monument and many trees which are more than 200 years old. Finally, the Forest Village of Erymanthos is situated nearby.
