Chora (Messaria)

Chora or Messaria is the capital of Kithnos built amphitheatrically on a hill side. It is located 8 km of Mericha, the island port. It was built in the 17th century and has been inhabited since then. It is one of the most beautiful Cycladic villages, with white houses, paved lanes, whitewashed stone benches, many small churches and wind mills.
