The famous "galazies spilies" (light blue caves), are some of the most beautiful in Greece, located in the NE coast of Schinari peninsul, 9km. They consist of consecutive chambers, Megali and Mikri Spilia (Large and Small Cave). The reflection and diffusion of sunlight on the waters trigger a riot of color. Visitors can go up to Agios Nikolaos by car (asphalted road) and then continue by boat. Alternatively, they can start out from the town of Zakynthos by boat or caique.
