Toxotes, 15 km SE: A village located next to Nestos River and the seat of many companies of alternative activities. Between Toxotes and Paradeisos you will find the ruins of the ancient town Topeiros. It was established during the 1st century A.D. and was the seat of bishop from the 5th until the 8th century.
