Koutala Cave

KOUTALA CAVE or KYKLOPAS cave is located west of Koutala bay. The cave was covered by rocks and was discovered by accident when its entrance was connected to the halls where people were extracting minerals. It has stalactites and stalagmites of strange shapes, while various findings that have been uncovered from the cave suggest that the latter was used as a place of worship in antiquity.
