In the Victorian era many natural phenomena had already been discovered and described according to natural laws, but a convincing representation of the fundamental mechanism of life was missing. What is the process through which new species emerge and replace those that are extinct? It was the proper moment for a total interpretation that would unlock the mystery of mysteries: life itself.
Darwin’s theories about natural selection and the origin of the species – including man – are presented in the film in a way that is both impressive and easy to understand. The magnificent landscape of nature is revealed in all its grandeur and the pieces of this scientific puzzle fall into place one step at a time. At the same time, new questions are being raised, which pave the way for new interpretations.
The impressive graphics at the 360ο screen of Tholos, the music by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and the narration by the actor G. Bezos guarantee that the film Darwin: the mystery of nature will enchant both children and adults.
The film’s duration is 40 minutes.
