A journey through the culture of Cycladic islands

Planning to travel to Athens by plane? Don’t miss out the opportunity to pass by the exhibition entitled “a journey through the culture of Cycladic islands”.

The exhibition is hosted on the arrivals’ level and showcases how the Cycladic Society was 5,000 years ago. It’s organised after the fruitful and successful collaboration in 2011 of AIA with the Museum of Cycladic Art. The exhibition constitutes a concise presentation of the exhibition “Cycladic Society, 5,000 years ago”organized this year by the Museum of Cycladic Art on the occasion of its 30th anniversary and curated by the Museum’s Director, Professor Nikolaos Stampolidis.

Τhe exhibition includes photos and a film-poem written and narrated by Professor Nikolaos Stampolidis, directed by Georgis Grigorakis, with music composed by Marilena Orfanos and produced by the Museum of Cycladic Art and Haos Film (Maria Hatzakou, Athina Rachel Tsangari).

Airport’s visitors will discover how the Cycladic Society was 5,000 years ago, just before setting out to visit the Aegean islands!
