It is housed in a former beer factory (“Fix”) and was first operated in 2000. It includes art collections of Greek and foreign artists and at the same time it organizes remarkable periodic exhibitions. Its full restoration and installment of permanent exhibitions will be accomplished in 2009.
Note: Until the Museum main building’s restoration is finished all periodic exhibitions are housed in different exhibition areas. For this reason, before you visit any exhibition please contact the Museum for further information.
