The fisrt Car Museum in Greece opens its doors this March. The new museum will be housed at the top level of the recently inaugurated Athenian Capitol mall in the centre of Athens, and will display historic, modern and rare vehicles. Paul Newman’s Mercedes Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, a 1959 Chrysler Imperial that belonged to Robert Plant, Led Zeppelin front man, and a 1979 Cadillac Seville Gucci, are just some of the 111 exhibits, all belonging to Dimitris Haragioni’s private collection. The new museum will also host a special educational programme for elementary and secondary school students, the Children's Highway Code, as well as a Formula 1 trainer.
The museum is located at Athenian Capitol mall, 3rd Septemvriou Str. & Patission Str.
