
In this remarkable Museum you will have the opportunity to learn many things concerning the interdependence of all leaving creatures. The museum exhibits a rich collection of insects, mammals, serpents, birds and shells as well as rocks and fossils from all around Greece. It also organizes seminars and lectures and hosts temporary exhibitions relevant to crucial environment issues concerning Greece and the world in general.
“Gaia” Center. Recently the Museum opened the Center of Environmental Research and Education “Gaia”, where visitors learn about the life of the natural world. The building extending over 12.500 sq. m apart from its permanent exhibition halls (about energy, transportation, natural resources, water, food) also organizes educational events.
